CODARIS working groups are not open yet. The proposed model is to give each initiative a defined scope, a documented way to contribute and outputs that can be inspected beyond the group itself.
PROPOSED OPERATING MODEL
Give the work a clear frame.
Specific charters make it easier to understand what a group is doing, how conclusions are reached and where more review is needed.
Make participation legible
Describe how contributors join, what expertise is useful, how conflicts are surfaced and who maintains the record.
Work from evidence
Use documented methods, reproducible tests and explicit assumptions where the subject allows.
Publish useful outputs
Possible results include threat models, specifications, reference implementations, test suites, interoperability reports and deployment guidance.
Keep review independent
Seek scrutiny beyond the contributing organization where feasible, and record unresolved disagreement and limitations.
Separate affiliation from authority
Employer affiliation is context. It does not grant ownership of the group or automatic decision rights.
